Talgarth airfield is home to a small and very active gliding club, 970 feet above sea level in the stunning scenery of the Black Mountains. In a northerly wind the ridges work from Hay Bluff down into the Brecon Beacons, and beyond for the more adventurous and experienced hill pilot. The club fleet consists of two K13s, a K21, a Junior, a K6CR, a Pirat and a Pawnee tug.
